The Bescot is an all-seater stadium with disabled, educational and conferencing facilities.

It is home to Walsall Football Club, who have played there since 1990, after moving from Fellows Park, a quarter of a mile away.

It currently has a 11,300 capacity following an extension to the Floors-2-Go Stand (formerly known as the Gilbert Alsop Stand) during the 2003/04 season.

Plans to develop the Homserve Stand (which usually caters for away supporters) were announced by the club during 2005. However, the club's slide from the Championship to League Two in the space of three seasons put these plans on hold.
