Manchester United 9-0 Ipswich Town - March 1995

Andy Cole scored five and Mark Hughes two against an Ipswich side destined for relegation. The other United goals were scored by Paul Ince and Roy Keane.

Still the biggest win in the Premier League.

Chelsea 8 Wigan Athletic 0 - May 2010

Chelsea needed to win to secure the title and they did so in emphatic style. Four from Drogba, plus a brace from Anelka and one each from Kalou and Ashley Cole saw the Blues take their goal-tally for the season to a Premier League record of 103.

Newcastle United 8-0 Sheffield Wednesday - September 1999

Alan Shearer was the star of the show with five goals - including two penalties - as relegation-bound Sheffield Wednesday were overrun at St James' Park. The other scorers were Aaron Hughes, Kieron Dyer and Gary Speed.

Nottingham Forest 1-8 Manchester United - February 1999

Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke each got a brace each, but the match-ball belonged to two Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who came off the bench to net four times in the last 10 minutes. Forest's consolation was from Alan Rogers. This remains the record away win in the Premier League.

Chelsea 7 Stoke City 0 - April 2010

In a season when they scored 7 or more on three occasions, this was not even the Chelea's biggest victory. Nonetheless, Stoke were comprehensively routed at Stamford Bridge with Kalou bagging a hat-trick and Lampard(2), Sturridge and Malouda also on the score-sheet.

Arsenal 7-0 Everton - May 2005

A brilliant performance from Dennis Bergkamp saw him score one and provide three assists as high-flying Everton were simply blown away at Highbury. Other scorers for the Gunners were Robert Pires (2), Robin van Persie, Patrick Vieira, Mathieu Flamini and Edu (penalty), as the goals were shared around.

Blackburn Rovers 7-0 Nottingham Forest - November 1995

Alan Shearer netted a superb hat-trick, while Lars Bohinen (2), Mike Newell and Graeme Le Saux also scored, against a Forest side that had finished third the previous season.

Manchester United 7-0 Barnsley - October 1997

Barnsley's one and only Premiership season saw them on the wrong end of a number of thumpings. This was the biggest, with Cole bagging a first half hat-trick and Ryan Giggs (2), Paul Scholes and Karel Poborsky were also on target.

Arsenal 7-0 Middlesbrough - January 2006

A Thierry Henry hat-trick plus goals from Philippe Senderos, Robert Pires, Gilberto Silva and Alexander Hleb sent Boro packing in this one-sided affair.
