Blues cruise as United edge a thriller

Chelsea strolled to another easy victory with a 4-0 win over a hapless Blackpool.

The Blues opened the scoring after just 72 seconds through Salomon Kalou, before a brace from Malouda, and one from Drogba, saw them four up at the break.

Amazingly, they failed to add to that score in the second half, but easily maintained their 100% record.

At Old Trafford, Manchester United looked to have blown a two goal lead, as a Steven Gerrard brace cancelled out two from Dimitar Berbatov.

However, the Bulgarian had the last laugh, completing his hat-trick on 84 minutes to win it 3-2 for United. It was the first hat-trick by a United player against Liverpool for 64 years.

After the match, Sir Alex Ferguson accused Liverpool striker Fernando Torres of cheating to earn the free kick from which Gerrard scored Liverpool's second.

Elsewhere, Carlos Tevez and Yaya Toure scored in a 2-0 Manchester City win over Wigan.
