Brunton Park is the 16,651 capacity home of Carlisle United FC who have played home games at the ground since 1909.

The stadium has four stands - the East Stand, the West Stand the Petteril End, and the Warwick Road End - known to fans as 'The Warwick' - which houses the most vocal Carlisle support.

The ground has a number of peculiar quirks, caused mainly by incomplete redevelopment work.

One of these is the East stand, which runs some 20 yards past the goal on the northern side of the pitch. This is because the stand was built with a view of moving the playing surface to accomodate a new stand, which has yet to be built.
