Capello the Hypocrite

Fabio Capello has opened himself up to accusations of double standards after he came out in support of troubled striker Wayne Rooney last night. Speaking after a Sunday paper published lurid revelations about Rooney and a prostitute, Capello insisted that the player's private life is his own concern and not that of the England manager. However, given his response to the (as yet unproven) allegations against John Terry, when the Chelsea player was stripped of the England captaincy, questions have to be asked about Capello's impartiality. |
