England boss Fabio Capello has ruled out any possibility of staying in the job beyond the 2012 European Championships.

Capello's position as manager looked to be under pressure following England's dismal World Cup, but convincing wins over Bulgaria and Switzerland in the Euro qualifiers has raised the question of whether he would consider leading the team at Brazil 2014.

However, Capello has moved quickly to end such speculation, insisting he had no desire to extend his stay with beyond the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.

‘Absolutely yes, I will leave,’ said the 64-year-old. ‘I will be too old and I want to enjoy my life as a pensioner.’
