Cardiff City Stadium![]() ![]()
After playing their home games at Ninian Park for close to 100 years, Cardiff City made the move to their new all-seater stadium in 2009. The purpose-built 26 828 capacity ground opened with a friendly match against Celtic on 22 July 2009. Situated in the Leckwith area of Cardiff, it is the second biggest stadium in Wales (after the Millennium) and also hosts the Cardiff Blues rugby union team. The club have announced that the ground will be assigned a branded name once a suitable sponsor is found. More Cardiff City stuff here;
