Carragher to Pen New Liverpool Deal

Liverpool fans can look forward to another three years of Jamie Carragher at Anfield, after the defender opened talks on a new contract. The Reds stalwart, now 32, feared for his Liverpool future under Rafa Benitez, but following the appointment of Roy Hodgson, the club have moved quickly to tie him down to a new deal. Expect an announcement in the next week or two. |
