The current stadium has three stands named ofter former Preston North End greats, namely Tom Finney, Bill Shankly and Alan Kelly.
The fourth 'Pavilion' stand has now been demolished to make way for a new stand, to be named the The Unbeatables Stand", in honour of Preston's all conquering 1888 team.
Work on the stand will be completed at the start of the 2008/2009 season and will take Deepdale's capacity up to 24,000 all seater.
