Ewood has been the home of Blackburn Rovers since 1890 and is the oldest home to a Premier League club (both Anfield and Stamford Bridge were built earlier (1884 and 1877), but their current tenants (Liverpool and Chelsea) did not start playing there until 1892 and 1905, respectively).

The current stadium is an all seater multi-sports facility with a capacity of 31,367.

It comprises four stands: the Darwen End, Riverside Stand, Blackburn End, and Jack Walker Stand, named after millionaire fan and club benefactor, Jack Walker.
