Kuyt Blow for Liverpool

Liverpool have had a major blow after Dirk Kuyt suffered a shoulder ligament injury which could keep him out for up to two months. Kuyt landed awkwardly while attempting a bicycle-kick in training with Holland on Monday. The player has flown back to England for further tests. His absence will be a blow to Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson, already facing an injury crisis with David Ngog and Fernando Torres not fully fit. Liverpool face Birmingham, Steaua Bucharest and Manchester United in the next two weeks. |
