In October 2005, a statue of Ivor Allchurch, who scored 164 goals in 445 appearances for Swansea, was erected outside the stadium.

On May 5, 2007 a permanent memorial to John Charles, one of Swansea's favourite footballing sons (although he never played professionally for the club) was unveiled at the ground.
