Liberty Stadium![]() ![]()
The Liberty Stadium is a 20,532 capacity all-seater stadium which has been home to Swansea City F.C. since they left the Vetch Field in 2005. Until the opening of Cardiff City's new ground it was the second largest stadium in Wales. In October 2005, a statue of Ivor Allchurch, who scored 164 goals in 445 appearances for Swansea, was erected outside the stadium. On May 5, 2007 a permanent memorial to John Charles, one of Swansea's favourite footballing sons (although he never played professionally for the club) was unveiled at the ground.
