Manchester City Destroying the Championship

Doncaster Rovers chairman John Ryan believes that Manchester City have distorted the integrity of the Championship by allowing star striker Craig Bellamy to go on loan to Cardiff City. Ryan, whose Doncaster side were beaten 4-0 by Cardiff on Saturday, said, "Handing a striker of Bellamy's quality to Cardiff - and paying most of his wages - undermines the sanctity of the competition. Manchester City shouldn't have done that. I feel let down by that, as do many other Championship chairman." |
