McLeish in conflict with Birmingham board
by The Rumor Monger
Alex McLeish has fallen out with the Birmingham board over his new contract. The former Scotland manager, who led City back to the Premier League, and finished in a respectable ninth place last season, is currently on £750,000 a year, and wants a rise to £1million. However, McLeish was left furious after vice-chairman Peter Pannu, right-hand man of owner Carson Yeung, accused him of greed, and commented that he is ‘no Mourinho’. |
