Pride Park is a 33,597 capacity all-seater stadium which is the home of Derby County F.C.

The stadium was completed in 1997, just 18 months after the club announced its intention to relocate from its previous home, the Baseball Ground.

The new stadium had a rather inauspicious start, with its first competitive match having to be abandoned due to floodlight failure.

In June 2007, following promotion to the Premier League, the club announced plans to expand the capacity to 44,000, provided they could hold on to their top flight status.

Their subsequent relegation most likely means these plans have been put on hold.
