St James' Park, situated in the centre of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, has been home Newcastle United since 1892.

It has a capacity of 52, 387, making it the third largest club football ground in England. The stadium has four stands - the Milburn Stand, the East Stand, the Leazes End and the Gallowgate End.

Gallowgate End (official name: Newcastle Brown Ale Stand), is at the southern end of the ground. Named unofficially for it's proximity to the old City gallows, and officially after the long standing club sponsor, Scottish & Newcastle Breweries.

Leazes End (official name: Sir John Hall Stand), at the northern end of the ground, named unnofficially for its proximity to Leazes Park and officially after the club's Life President Sir John Hall.

Milburn Stand, the main stand, on the west side of the ground - named after Newcastle legend 'Wor' Jackie Milburn.

East Stand, which is by far the smallest of the four stands.
