Stephen Ward signs new contract for Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Stephen Ward has signed a new three and a half year deal at Molineux. Manager Mick McCarthy describes him as one of his best players ever. Ward, 26, has been so impressive that McCarthy called off his search for a new left-back. McCarthy was quoted saying "He's one of the best professionals I've ever worked with and has earned a new deal by the manner of his performances". |
