Following on from Chelsea's back to back 6-0 hammerings of West Brom and Wigan, and Arsenal's 6-0 win over Blackpool, we now have newly-promoted Newcastle also in on the act. The Geordies dished out a 6-0 thumping to Aston Villa at St James Park. A hat-trick from Andy Carroll, 2 from Kevin Nolan and 1 from Joey Barton (ridiculous tash, notwithstanding) sealed it for Newcastle. The EPL seems to be raining goals at the moment - long may it continue. |
