The Walker's Stadium is a 32,500 all-seater stadium, which has been home to Leicester City FC since their move from Filbert Street in 2002.

The stadium was named for its main sponsor, Walker's, who acquired an initial ten year naming rights deal (recently extended to 2017).

The 37 million pound cost of the stadium, combined with relegation from the Premiership, meant that Leicester went into receivership shortly after moving to the new stadium.

Ownership of the stadium then reverted to the American company, Teachers Insurance, who had financed a 28 million pound bond scheme for the stadium's construction.

In October 2006, Milan Mandaric, bought the club in a reported 25 million pound deal, said to include 15 million to buy back the stadium from its current owners.
